LDC Ignite signs Mitchell Tabet (ex Chabibeh)- September 18, 2024

Mitchell Tabet
LDC Ignite PP (LDC) signed 23-year old Lebanese point guard Mitchell Tabet (183cm-2000) for upcoming 2024-25 season. Last season he played in the LBL in Lebanon.
He represented Lebanon at the Liga Mediterranean Cup of Championship in Spain six years ago. He 4 FIBA Cup game he averaged an impressive 4.4 assists per game. Tabet has played also professionally in Kazakhstan (Aktobe), Serbia (Novi Pazar) and Lebanon (Beirut Club, Moutahed, Hoops and Chabibeh Sporting Club). He also played for the Lebanese National Team back in 2017. "We were impressed with Mitchell for years", said head coach Guilermo Reyes. Mitchell has great court vision along with being a posed point guard. This is what we need with such a young group. The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he played in the final of Dubai International Tournament in 2019. He was voted Sports Mania High School Player of the Year in Beirut (Lebanon) back in 2018.
